MineChess

MineChess is a chess variation that adds a refreshing amount of randomness to the game. Evaluate risks based on true unknowns and create new strategies to conquer the ever changing battlefield.

Rules

• All chess movement rules apply
• Mines are scattered randomly across the board
• When a figure is placed on a mine, it explodes and a new mine is placed somewhere else
• Figures indicate how many mines are in their proximity

Settings

• You can have explosions affect a 3x3 area instead of just a single tile
• You can allow kings to defuse mines. (This doesn't protect them from 3x3 explosions)
